VIDEO: 79-Year-Old Dunedin Driver Punches Cyclist After Spraying Water Leads to Mid-Street Altercation

Evidently, a 79-year-old driver found himself entangled in a prolonged spat involving a cyclist as he was traveling on North Road. Caught on the cameras of onlookers, their heated brawl soon transformed into a disturbing attack. 

Unfolding in chaos along the bustling streets of Christchurch, this road rage incident left citizens shaken by its unforeseen intensity. Making headlines on Monday morning, the scene witnessed the agitated driver confronting another local’s cycling adventure. As the bicycle owner sprayed water on the elderly rider, he was seen suffering abrupt punches from the enraged rider. 

Routine cycling venture leads to on-street brawl

Evidently, it all began when the 42-year-old cycling enthusiast made his way along Blenheim’s streets. As his trajectory unsuspectingly cut off an elderly traveler, the scene escalated into verbal skirmishes. While both were spotted fighting for their own grounds, the spat turned serious when the senior driver became verbally aggressive.

Far from accepting the reprimand, the cycling enthusiast resorted to a bold response as he turned creative in mere moments. Spraying water on the angry senior, he was seen marking an immediate outlet for his frustration.
