Good Samaritan Donald Scroggins was among those who offered support. “It was a lot of cars and then I saw the kids laying down in the grass, and I was wondering what was going on”, he elaborated. 11-year-old Khamonte expressed his gratitude for Scroggins’ kindness, stating, “He’s a kind man.” The victim’s grandmother, Lurithea James, voiced her concern for the injured boy, issuing a heartfelt plea to the irresponsible driver.
