The 36-year-old pedal cyclist resided in the small village of Queenstown, near the Essequibo Coast. Bridgemohan, a logger by profession, was said to be pedaling on his bicycle near Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) when the car hit his rear wheel. Jolted by the impact, Bridgemohan flew off his bicycle, hitting the front side of the car. As he fell to the road, the person driving the car did not stop the engine.

In the most tragic turn of events, the car sped past the man, running him over before coming to a stop in the distance. This resulted in Bridgemohan getting a broken neck as well as multiple bodily wounds. The medical team arrived at the spot as soon as the tragedy was reported.

Unfortunately, after being rushed to the hospital, Bridgemohan ultimately succumbed to his injuries, passing away in the process. Reports suggest that the driver of the car has been taken into custody, and investigating officers are looking closely at the matter. As Bridgemohan’s body is kept in the Suddie Mortuary for a postmortem, his family is furious and demanding justice.
