Road Accidents have become a common sight in today’s age and time. Every now and then, road accidents take place which result either in death or serious injury. As a matter of fact, cyclists face a lot of trouble when they are out cycling. In most of the cases involving road accidents, cyclists stay the focal point. One such incident has taken place in Co Kerry this morning of an old male cyclist.

According to the sources, a 60-year-old male cyclist died in the accident. The incident took place when the veteran cyclist collided with a car. Reports suggest that the car was being driven by a woman. Local police arrested a woman involved in the accident. Police officials detained her under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The impact of the accident was so hard that the cyclist died on the spot. The authorities transported the body to University Hospital, Kerry for a postmortem examination. Emergency services quickly responded to the situation and took control of the matter. The reason of death will be confirmed after the postmortem is over. The exact incident is not clear and the police officials are seeking help from the local people. The police have urged witnesses to come forward and help them in the case.

In accidents like these, the victim dies mainly of impact injuries.
