The transport spokesman of the Warwickshire County Council, Jan Matecki expressed his views with the Leamington Observer saying, “For many of us, it might seem difficult, and perhaps daunting, to know where to start as traveling by car, even for short journeys, has become so engrained in our daily lives.”

The residents of Warwickshire came forward to participate in the challenge and the event witnessed their full cooperation. As a result of a mindful engagement, the Cycle September campaign bore extraordinary results other than improving the health of the residents. In a joint effort, the participants triumphed in saving a vast 3,225 kilograms (3.3 tonnes) of carbon emissions.
In a conscious attempt to replace car rides with bicycles, the success in taking down carbon emissions serves as the primary yet significant step towards achieving an eco-friendly future. Besides, as a gesture of honoring the hard work of the residents, Cycle September has retained a winning prize worth £4000 as a holiday coupon other than other exciting prizes.
The event organizers have divided the ride into riding points and encourager points to seek more participation. Riding for 1 mile equivalents to 1 point, for 1 day is equal to 10 points. On the other hand, an existing rider secures 50 points while for a new rider, the point is 100.

Even though September is over and Cycle September has come to an end, Love to Ride serves a platform for interested riders to go forward with their interest in sustainable cycling. The organization is optimistic about constructing a path toward achieving a more sustainable and green future.
