North Carolina Honors the Life of 23-Year-Old Cyclist Who Lost Her Life in a Tragic Collision

Often times things don’t go according to plans. The one thing that you love the most can sometimes bring your own doom. This is exactly what happened with a 23-year-old North Carolina cyclist. After embarking on a journey that was supposed to be happy, Zoe Clay did not return from her cycling session. She succumbed to a horrible crash and was declared dead soon after. This incident took the community by shock as they gathered to pay respect to Zoe Clay?s soul.?

On her Memorial Day, a remorseful few minutes passed as a man gathered up the courage to approach Tom Clay, her father for something special. What he had was the last recording of Zoe before she met her harrowing feat. After initial hesitation, Tom agreed to watch the video and it changed his mood for the good. As painful as it felt to look at her daughter one last time, Tom realized something. He realized that his daughter died doing the one thing in life that she enjoyed the most. However, apart from her father?s realization, Zoe Clay?s admirers arranged a special act to honor their beloved cyclist.?

Tom Clay was a sad father at the funeral of his daughter. Memories swarmed him as he could not believe the fact that his 23-year-old would never again call her ?Papa?. However, as we all know, life must go on, and we all must celebrate the works of individuals after their demise to remember and honor them. Zoe Clay?s memorial was planned exactly like that.

A large number of people gathered for the memorial which took place on Saturday. The event was held at the spot where Zoe used to practice for long hours. The place was decorated with the cyclist?s photograph to pay the final respect. However, this was not all. A 5k run and age group bike race was held to honor the deceased soul.?

The race comprised of children who used to be coached by the vibrant Zoe. One of her student?s fathers stated that Zoe was a perfect leader and mentor. He further stated that Zoe would teach her students valuable life lessons about companionship and building relationships apart from training. It is heartbreaking to know that such a gem of a soul left the Earth so early. So how did the incident happen??

Young cycling prodigy?s untimely death unveiled

Zoe Clay suffered a terrible crash while cycling on the Greensboro trail. The accident took place on October 12, and since then, she has been under medical supervision. Tom, her dad, thanked all the ones who came forward to support the young cyclist during her last days. He also revealed that her fans managed to collect a fund of $80,000 to aid her funeral and medical expenses.?
