Justin Wenze and Ann-Sophie started off their cycling expedition in August 2023, from Berlin. Crossing boundaries and overcoming challenges they witnessed the diverse nature of this world. From embracing the diverse cultures of different nations to exploring the world on pedals the couple has been creating a history.

Their itinerary for the trip included pedaling across 15 nations across Asia and Europe. Starting from their home country Germany their destination was fixed at the picturesque capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. Pedaling across Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and India the duo finally reached Nepal.

To keep up with the pace of their journey they also took a few occasional breaks via train or airplane but they continued to primarily depend on their two-wheeler. They paused in the city of dreams of India, Mumbai, and were fascinated by the vibrant and energetic lifestyle of the natives of Mumbai. From Mumbai Wenze and Sophie reached Patna before pedaling towards Kathmandu.

The duo had to battle against endless obstacles starting from harsh weather, and linguistic boundaries to diverse landscapes. Despite all the barriers, the warmth and love they continued to receive from the natives of these countries gave them the zeal and solace to continue their journey. Wenze shared, “We’ve discovered that despite our differences, we are all more similar than we think. The news often paints a dark picture of the world, but we’ve seen firsthand how shared humanity shines through.”
