The Belgian kit manufacturer has concluded its two-year-long association with Grenadiers which was confirmed on December 4. It was the strategic scaling of the sponsorship commitments that propelled backed by the industry’s downturn during the post-COVID that propelled the company to make this decision.
As reported by Cycling News, Bioracer said in a statement about the reason of the brand’s putting an end to its partnership with Grenadiers, “As the post-covid situation has challenged not just us but our whole industry we took hard decisions to strengthen our business. That meant a revision of our operational costs, capacity and with that scaling down our sponsorship engagements as well.”
It was 26-year-old cyclist’s social media post that further authenticated the end of the partnership between Grenadiers and Bioracer. From the picture posted on the Instagram story the jersey has been notably different from the cyclist’s kit from the previous season ad bore the insignia of Gobik, another Spanish kit supplier.

The social media tumult may also lead to a toll on the Ineos-Grenadiers partnership which has been the maverick Pidcock with the l’Alpe d’Huez victory last year.
