Cedar Point’s swift response
When asked about the incident, Tony Clark, the Director of Communications for Cedar Point, assured everyone that it was a standard procedure, ensuring the safety of their guests was their utmost priority. He likened the mechanical issue to a “check engine light” situation, which required the ride to be temporarily stopped. Rest assured, the experienced park staff was well-trained to handle such scenarios.
Nevertheless, we are sure the roller coaster walk down would have been a thrilling adventure in itself. The guests who experienced it would have a unique story to tell for their lifetime. But at the same time, it’s important for Cedar Point management to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
