It is no secret that the higher up you go, the more difficult it gets to walk and breathe. But a recent video of a man has emerged that shows that he seemingly took this challenge to another level. Walking along the steps of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Borneo and Malaysia, one climber tackled its inclines, but with a self-inflicted enhancement of adversities.

Leaving the viewers in shock, the audacious climbing enthusiast had attached a large container to his behind, which effectively added to his obstacles during the ascent. This added mass demanded extra physical prowess, making it far more treacherous for the individual. Nonetheless, the climber in the video continued his efforts, igniting passionate acknowledgment from TikTok users.

What was the climber carrying?

Renowned for its awe-inspiring steepness and risky trails, the Kinabalu ascent has its own hurdles. But that failed to deter this exceptional climbing enthusiast, who upgraded the difficulty with a full gas tank secured to his back. The footage, posted on TikTok by user @jvy_aolm01, features the climber making the Kinabalu ascent.

Throughout his ascent, the climber valiantly balanced the heavy container, but that was not all. Evidently, he included many other undisclosed items, all strapped together to his accessories on his back. Establishing his undeniable skills, the man did not lose his balance once, despite the weight and bulkiness of his cargo.

Apparently, the man did this as part of delivering supplies for the Laban Rata Resthouse, a popular tourist hut that doubles up as a resting point for climbers on their way to the top of Mount Kinabalu. The resthouse is located approximately 3,272 meters above sea level. This was part of the man’s regular work.

While his list of carried goods included tables, cement, and, obviously, the notably hefty gas tanks, the climbing man emphasized the manageable duration of his tasks. Additionally, he also acknowledged the paramount importance of strength and skill in executing such tasks. Lifting substantial loads along these steps every day, his life story underscores the brutal and awe-inspiring nature of life led by some people across the world.
