Hart embarked on a cheerleading career and spent six years with the Varsity Blonds on AEW Dark. The pivotal moment in her life that propelled her transformation from a cheerleader to a wrestler came in December 2021 during an episode of AEW Dynamite. On this very occasion, Hart found herself at the center of a dramatic storyline and later on Malakai Black’s mist transformed her trajectory.

In the Spotify podcast, Hart shared a glimpse of her cheerleading passion stating, “Definitely. I think cheerleading also made me comfortable in front of crowds. I’ve never second-guessed myself in front of a crowd. I always feel really at home being in front of people, and I can take on that pressure of being the center of attention, which is okay for me, where some people might be scared of [it]. But for me, it’s okay. And also, too, I think cheerleading really taught me to be a hard worker and to just keep pursuing your goal.” Hence, cheerleading has been an indispensable part of Hart’s journey serving as a stepping stone for her career as a wrestler

Overcoming challenges to face dream opponents

Even though Hart embraced a darker persona that was in stark contrast to her existing cheerful persona, the transformation journey has been no less than a challenging endeavor. She even highlighted the challenges she faced while amalgamating two distinct worlds of cheerleading and wrestling, “I’d been cheerleading for six years, so I was like ‘Oh, it’ll just be easy.’ But it was actually really hard for me to translate cheerleading into wrestling, because they’re two different things, so it was like hitting heads for me, character-wise.”

This evolution process from a cheerleader to a formidable wrestler endowed Hart with an opportunity to come to terms with the demands of professional wrestling. All her hard work and resilience eventually paid off when she reached the pinnacle of her career at AEW Full Gear by securing the TBS title as the youngest wrestler. In the interview, she even shared a dream-come-true moment of her when she faced luminaries like AJ Lee.
