The timeless queen of the country, Dolly Parton traded her rhinestones for pom-poms and graced the football field at the age of 77 as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. Taking center stage in a Cowboys cheerleader costume, Parton strutted onto the field. Followed by the recent release of her latest album. “Rockstar,” her high-energy performance during the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day has been a showstopper.

Adding a surprising twist to her performance, adding a charitable touch, Parton cheered for more than just showdowns. Through this performance, she has come together with the charitable service, Salvation Army appealing to the fans to make donations this holiday season.

A video has been posted by the official handle of Dallas Cowboys on Instagram featuring the singing legend, Dolly Parton with the caption, “@DollyParton officially kicked off the giving season with an incredible #RedKettleKickoff performance Every dollar you give to @salvationarmyus helps your neighbors in need during the holidays and all year long.”

The clip starts with Parton dressed not in an ordinary cheerleading costume but in black glittery suit and red glittery vest holding a bell sending Thanksgiving greetings. The police cap she is seen wearing has Salvation Army written on it showing her collaboration with the charitable organization.

She stated, “When you drop a dollar in that Red Kettle, you can make a difference for the families who are struggling to put food on the table and for the single parent who can’t make rent this month.”

As reported by The People, Parton shared that the Red Kettle of the Salvation Army stood as a symbol of hope for the people who are going through challenging times this holiday season.
