Rookline-Jamaica Plain Patriots Cheerleading Squad Seeks Community Assistance to Conquer Its Nationals Quest

Spirit coalescing with athleticism, the Brookline-Jamaica Plain Patriots have made their way to clinching a golden ticket to the Cheer & Dance Nationals in Florida that is scheduled for December 2023. However, as cheerful as it may seem, there is a plot twist that the squad has been exposed to that has hindered their journey to the top.

As they embark on the adventure of conquering the sunny side of cheer at the Nationals, they are looking for community assistance. In a heartwarming tale of dreams and dedication, as the cheerleading squad pushes themselves under the leadership of their coach Gail Flattes through the challenges, they continue to inspire others through their resilience.

Brookline-Jamaica Plain Patriots cheerleading team journey 

The Brookline-Jamaica Plain Patriots cheerleading team comprises eight talented girls who have been a part of the program since they were five years old. However, since the program, along with the participants, has found themselves at the crossroads of achieving something big, they are seeking support to turn their dreams into reality. 

The journey to the nationals is not a cakewalk and has been a result of multiple years of hard work and remaining loyal to their passion for cheer. Besides showcasing their unwavering commitment to the cheerleading sport, the group of eight girls have put forward their contribution by working together as a team.  

However, the journey to the top that lies ahead is filled with financial hindrances. As per the reports of Jamaica Plain News, with the mission of tackling expenses related to participation, travel and accommodation, the Brookline-Jamaica Plain Patriots cheerleading team has launched a GoFundMe page. 

A call for community support

Setting their sights on representing the community on a national and prestigious platform, there comes a call for support. Going beyond just financial aid, this initiative looks forward to implementing a collective effort in an attempt to help young athletes realize the essentiality of their dreams and make cherished memories.
