Besides being good at cheering for your side, you need the look, the figure, the attitude, and the temperament to be a good fit for the job. It is an additional honor to not only be a cheerleader but also to win an award that validates your skills!

Berkleigh Wright, who cheers for the Denver Broncos, adding another feather to her hat, has bagged Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie 2024. With hopes to inspire the next generations, she is surely leading by example!

The Denver Broncos are currently experiencing a difficult period with a 1-5 record. They are currently at the bottom of the AFC standings after the first six games of the season. While their luck on the field has been mediocre, at least someone on the Broncos has been turning it around off the field. The NFL cheerleader is in her fifth season with the Broncos and will feature on SI’s 2024 edition, marking its 60th issue.

Technically, Wright tied with six other finalists for the title. In fact, Sports Illustrated didn’t even count the final votes, instead awarding all the finalists the esteemed position of 2024 winner. SI Swimsuit announced, “Congratulations to these 7 fierce, strong, beautiful women! We can’t wait to see you all shine as 2024 Rookies.” The announcement was made during a group video call with the finalists.

Berkleigh reacted to the news by commenting on the video announcing the winners, “I’m not crying you’re crying. Will never be able to thank you all enough for this opportunity!!”

Multifaceted achiever making a difference!

Wright is even more impressive than she lets on. Besides being an NFL cheerleader and now an SI Rookie, she is a technical account manager and analyst by day. Her academic achievements are equally noteworthy. Holding a degree in strategic communications, business, and psychology from the University of Kansas, the 28-year-old demonstrates a commitment to excellence that extends far beyond the football field. Wright also works closely with the Children’s Hospital Colorado, the Boys and Girls Club of Denver, and Habitat for Humanity, showcasing her compassion and dedication to social causes.

It is undeniable that Wright’s accomplishments are well-deserved. Besides being stunning and breathtaking as a cheerleader and model, she has positioned herself as a person of high standing with her impressive academic achievements and the social work she undertakes. It will definitely be interesting to see how she continues her career after winding down her cheerleading days. However, that is a story for another day, years down the line. At the moment, the cheerleader is absolutely nailing it on every front, and fans cannot be happier for her success.
