However, a shocking act by one of the players marked the highlight of the day, with fans pouring in mixed reactions.

The game kicked off with an explosion of energy, as Matt O’Riley swiftly stole the spotlight by delivering a superb opening goal just four minutes into the match. Initially, Reo Hatate was seen to further increase Celtic’s lead with a second-half penalty, but his strike soon thundered against the post, much to the relief of the home crowd. Subsequently, Kyogo Furuhashi, who had been a constant thorn in Hearts’ side, extended his scoring streak against them with a swift and clinical strike. Although Hearts’ Lawrence Shankland managed to find the back of the net for the first time since August, the Celtic team quickly responded to his audacious feats.

Maintaining their three-goal lead with a fierce goal from Tomoki Iwata, the group’s approach looked clear from the start. Brendan Rodgers, the Celtic boss, emphasized the importance of beginning the game with energy to disrupt Hearts’ rhythm, which his players had executed effectively.
