Medical authorities airlifted him to a local hospital first and then to the capital city of Riyadh. Shortly after, he was repatriated to his home country.

His team, Twin Trail, released a statement about the events after the crash and his physical state. According to their statement, he was found without a pulse and unconscious but was resuscitated by the medical team present at the scene. The deadly crash left him in a coma, and they strived hard to improve his condition. Doctors confirmed that the neurological damage caused inside his brain because of a heart attack at the time of the accident was irreversible.
