The entire French film community was rocked by the shocking news of the accident of actor and director Mathieu Kassovitz. According to the local media reports, Kassovitz was at a race track in the middle of getting advanced lessons in a motorcycle training course.
The veteran actor was at a racing track, honing his motor-riding skills for a role in his upcoming movie. The accident that took place certainly left everyone present in deep concern for his safety and well-being.
Mathieu Kassovitz’s condition leaves the French in despair

According to eye-witnesses present at the time of the crash, Kassovitz was riding the motorbike with his daughter but all those claims were quashed after authorities revealed the details of the unfortunate accident.
The accident took place at the Linas-Monthl?ry racing circuit in a suburb south of Paris on Sunday and he was transferred to the Kremlin-Bic?tre hospital. After speaking to the family and close ones, it is understood that the French legend suffered serious injuries to his ankle, pelvis and leg but is not in any danger or critical condition.
The operations for the injuries were successful and he is now in recovery. “The operations went well,” his father Peter Kassovitz, a Hungarian-born film director, said in a statement issued by the actor’s agent. “Mathieu will begin a normal process of healing, rest and returning to fitness.”

Motorbiking, a thrill and threat
The maestro will now be on a long road to recovery, before he can think of resuming any form activity, especially motorbiking. The accident will certainly push back the filming and schedule for his new project.
Just last week, at the Gran Premi de Catalunya or MotoGP Barcelona, another devastating accident took place that showed just how dangerous and unpredictable the sport and its accidents can get.
Current MotoGP table topper Francesco Bagnaia met with a fatal accident during the opening lap of the MotoGP race in Barcelona. The rider made his way and crashed at turn 2 after starting the race from the pole but that was not the end of his misery.

Unable to maneuver while in high speeds, KTM’s Brad Binder ran over Bagnaia’s legs as he lay on the track after his fatal fall. The accident left everyone in the audience in horror but the medical staff on ground burst into loud cheers after learning he was conscious and out of danger.
The rider suffered minor injuries and did not have any fractures to his legs. He is all set to join the team next week for the Italian MotoGP.

Fans and people worldwide will be grateful that the two maestros came out of the accident with their life in their hands and no deadly or life-threatening injuries. The dangers of the sport will never really disappear but determination to overcome them is what makes the beauty of it.
