In the spotlight for this edition of the challenge is Rayville High School, proudly represented by the Rayville Hornets cheerleading team. While it’s their first time participating in the Cheerleader Challenge, they’ve wasted no time in making a lasting impression. The cafeteria where the event unfolds has been transformed into a sea of school spirit, and the Rayville Hornets are buzzing with enthusiasm.

Rayville Hornets may have joined the Cheerleader Challenge at the last minute, but they’ve approached it with unparalleled dedication. Lashanda McCuin, the on-site reporter for KNOE, couldn’t help but express her admiration for their efforts. The cafeteria underwent a magnificent transformation, with yellow football helmets taking center stage, surrounded by vibrant Pom Poms, hornet logos, and cheer signs bearing the words “Go,” “Big,” and “Green.”

The attention to detail is evident, as the team’s spirit shines through in every corner. From the Hornets’ logo on cardboard cutouts to the RHS 2023 sign denoting Rayville High School’s pride, every element screams school pride.

The heart of the Rayville Hornets’ team spirit lies in its leaders, Captain Michelle and Co-Captain Valencia.
