Going and watching a game in the stands is supposed to be an entertaining experience. But when some fans bring out their unruly behavior and cause chaos, it ruins the fun for everyone. The weekend hockey game between the Edmonton Oilers and the Tampa Bay Lightning was marred by controversies after several fan wars broke out.
The battle most of the time takes place on the field, and hockey fans are not known for their aggressive behavior. However, everything changed last Friday when a brutal fan fight broke out in the stands during the game and even after it.

Uploaded on X by the page ‘YEGWAVE’, the post had two videos.
The first fight broke out in the upper deck of the stands, with a man delivering brutal punches to the face of another man, standing lower to him. He kept pounding him with brutal uppercuts and people around them tried their best to get things under control. People yelled at him and begged him to stop. The brutal punches left the man in the lower seat with a bloody face and nose.
The next fight was between a group of three men but not in the stands and during the game. At first it was just an intense and heated argument between them that evolved into a fight. The boy in the green sweatshirt was surrounded by the other two and they unleashed their wrath, with heavy punches to his face. I quickly escalated into a full-blown fight and the boy in green was getting destroyed by the man in the white hoodie. People stopped his friend from intervening but couldn’t save the boy from damage.
The violent fan war stole all the attention from the hockey game between the Oilers and the Lightning, where Tampa Bay put up quite a performance, but none of which will be remembered.
Internet reacts to unwanted fan fights
