The BMW PGA Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament will take place at Wentworth Club in Surrey, England on Wednesday. The tournament will feature a star-studded lineup of celebrities from sports, television, and Hollywood. The lineup of the celebrities that are taking part has been revealed. It includes the recently retired soccer player Gareth Bale, who has a mind-blowing handicap.
The star-studded lineup will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the finest golfers globally. This includes the likes of European heavyweights Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Viktor Hovland. This event serves as a warm-up for the upcoming Ryder Cup in Rome later this month.

PGA Pro-Am and the stats
Gareth Bale, who retired in January, has found himself with ample time for golf, and he’s set to hit the links with a commendable handicap of 0.5. The former Wales, Real Madrid, and Tottenham star will join forces with none other than golf sensation Rory McIlroy.

Among the notable former footballers participating, Gareth Bale stands out with his impressive handicap of 0.5. He will join John Terry. He is carrying a handicap of 7.5, as well as recently retired Theo Walcott (10.2), Steve Sidwell (9.1), Rachel Finnis-Brown (15), Ben Foster (8), and Jimmy Bullard (scratch).
Apart from soccer stars, cricket stars also seem to have a knack for golf, or perhaps they’re blessed with an abundance of leisure time.

Cricketing Legends and Golf?
Stuart Broad boasts a respectable handicap of 6.9, while James Anderson isn’t far behind with 2.6. Former England captain Andrew Strauss also impresses with a handicap of 1.8. As for jockeys, JP McManus (18) and Sir AP McCoy (12.3) may not have the same physical stature as some, but their golfing skills are worth noting.
The TV presenter category offers some exceptional golfing talent as well. Naga Munchetty, with a handicap of 6.5, and Dan Walker, boasting an impressive +0.8 handicap, rank among the top amateur players in the field. It promises to be a thrilling day on the golf course with this diverse and skilled lineup.

Gareth Bale has been a leading from-the-front soldier for Real Madrid and Welsch. Similarly, Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson were the Finest Bowling Attack System for England. They have given all they had in their primary sports. It will be interesting to see how these stars perform at the pro-am. The adaptation to a different sport would be noteworthy. Everyone from Broad, Anderson and, Bale would have to stay focused.
