Bull fighting and bull running as sports are still very prevalent in some regions. Especially in Spain and Mexico, where people participate in huge numbers despite the glaring dangers of the sport. A viral video on Reddit showed a man getting brutally knocked down by a bull during an event.

What makes the video even more interesting is the bull’s actions after the first strike. Not in a 100 years could the man, or anyone else for that matter, predict what was about to happen. Let’s dive in and find out just how dangerous the quest for thrill was for this man.

Bull run ends horribly for enthusiastic man

Uploaded by a user on the subreddit ‘TheBullWins‘, the video and its events most certainly lived up to the name. The video started with the bull in the centre of the action as people hurriedly tried to sway away.

Our protagonist of the moment, surprisingly, ran toward the raging animal and then turned his back on him. Anyone participating or merely spectating will know that you never turn your back on one.

This is where the man messed up and got struck in the back by the brute bull. He completely covered himself like a turtle in its shell, covering his body from the attacks of the bull.

Volunteers on the field managed to lift him up and guided him away from the action, or so they thought. As he looked behind and ran away from one, another bull from the other side smashed him in the torso. His day went from bad to worse, getting struck by two bulls in just a matter of seconds. He went tumbling into the air, and perhaps at that moment, questioned his fate and luck.

One user thoroughly enjoyed what they saw in the video and said, “Awesome work, fuck you in particular lol.” Another user took a slightly different route and expressed some concern and clubbed it with advice. He said, “Dawn boy, watch where you going.”

Another user stated, “Got two birds stoned at once,” pointing out the man’s unfortunate and brutal luck after the double attack. One user sang words of praise to the bulls and called their effort, “Team work all round.”

Everyone knows the dangers of bull runs. Calls for the sport to be banned have increased in the last few years, but for some communities, it is still a huge part of their culture and heritage.
