Medical professionals at the scene tried their best to save him, with Jefferson County Schools Superintendent Walter Gonsoulin detailing their efforts during a news conference shared by WBRC FOX6. Subsequently, White was transported to a hospital upon the arrival of first responders, where he was later declared deceased, Gonsoulin explained.

Something of similar fashion happened with Bronny James as well. The 18-year-old son of LeBron James suffered a cardiac arrest during a practice match. This was a very critical situation. However, he survived this. This incident happened during a practice game at university of South California. Not everyone is lucky as Bronny James, and this is the perfect example of an on court tragedy.

On Facebook, White’s grandfather and mother both shared the heartbreaking news that he had passed away due to cardiac arrest. Describing him as someone with a generous heart, Charlette White expressed her son’s impact beyond being a basketball player or a student, emphasizing his qualities as a remarkable individual.

This sentiment was echoed by White’s older brother, Cameron, who paid tribute to him as a skillful athlete, a dedicated leader, and an intelligent son in a heartfelt Facebook post. He also conveyed his profound love for his “lil bro,” believing that Caleb had fulfilled a mission destined by a higher power.

A dedicated Youngster

Caleb White’s commitment to his craft was apparent to his mother, who proudly shared on social media that he practiced daily. Rising at 6:00 AM to train alone, he often remained the last person in the gym, a fact that filled her with pride. In the aftermath of his untimely passing, both his friends and the community at large have been left in mourning.
