Things can go from somber to sensationalism in a jiffy when a huge crowd is involved. In a similar turn of events recently, a chaos broke out when a group of skateboarders were trying to organize an event, which was un-sanctioned.
As it was not sanctioned by the police force, the crowd went on to resist the stoppage of the event which led to chaos and there were major arrests implemented as well.

A large group of people or basically skateboarders gathered for a skateboarding event, at the Dolores Hill Bomb. However, this was not sanctioned by the police or by any authority as a major accident happened in the past year.
As soon as the police officers came for a rest, it was forcefully resisted by the state borders and there were images of vandalism and also noises of shooting. The drama lasted the whole day and at the end around 8:35 PM, 32 arrests were made where the adults were taken in for the suspicion of causing the riot and 81 juveniles were also booked on the terms of suspicion. However, there were not the same charges on them as there were on the adults. The police officials released a statement about the actions.
Police Department Clarifying their harsh Actions
The San Francisco chief released the statement addressing the whole cause, “This dangerous and unlawful behaviour put members of the public and our officers at risk of serious injury or worse,” “This behaviour will not be tolerated in our city and I thank our officers for taking action to hold those accountable who brazenly engaged in reckless and dangerous behaviour and violated the law. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries.”
The Harvey milk democratic club also released a statement but it was against the police officials, “The ‘Harveymilkclub’ is outraged by the large scale show of force by police in military gear against teenagers at Dolores Park, which led to the arrest and mistreatment of 81 juveniles and 32 adults.”

No one would have thought that merely a skateboarding event would turn into a huge disorganization. But an incident where a skateboarder ran into a cyclist and led to the death of the cyclist earlier had alerted the police authorities to take serious actions against the people. However, some have termed the entire situation as police brutality and a violation of freedom but public safety is the topmost priority for police officials.

There were no reports of any major injury apart from a boy being transferred to the hospital due to getting intoxicated during the vandalism and the chaos.
Things at this point don’t seem right between the police officials and the people. But the vandalism and the ruckus created by the skateboarders were not justified as well. It would be crucial to see what actions and charges would be placed on the 32 individuals that have been arrested.
