In one of these 75 victories lies Adesanya’s yet another brilliant performance. He faced Dan Roberts at King in the Ring back in 2015 at the Semi-Finals of The Heavyweights III. Adesanya did not disappoint in his hometown of New Zeland. He delivered a solid punch, which left Roberts struggling to find his feet on the ground. Adesanya followed with a flurry of punches and found just the right time to finish Roberts with a left hook. The referee called the fight as Robert fell flat on the ground.
What’s next for Adesanya?
Adesanya’s championship belt is still unchallenged. The #1 middleweight title contender Paulo Costa raised many eyebrows when he challenged Adesanya at UFC 243. However, after Adesanya’s knockout victory, he welcomed a fight with Costa, who was coming off a win against Yoel Romero.

Originally scheduled to face Paulo Costa for the UFC middleweight championship, Adesanya is eying a potential championship match against a former title contender, Yoel Romero.
Romero is coming off a loss against Paulo Costa at UFC 241. However, Romero has looked incredible in all his fights. Adesanya has shown a lot of confidence going into a war with the Soldier of God. It will be his first title defence. Romero is a former Olympic champion who looks impossible to knockdown.
