Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira made the headlines with a viral TikTok video with the Palace cheerleaders. The hilarious video had the fans in hysterics and made them react to it on social media.

With the World Cup going on, club soccer is having a break. Most of the clubs have opted to play friendlies during the break to keep the available players match-fit. Club soccer is close to restarting, and yesterday Crystal Palace took on the La Liga side Real Valladolid in a club friendly. Although Palace won the game 2-1, it was Vieira who made headlines before the game with the viral video.

Patrick Vieira crashes Crystal Palace cheerleaders’ video

Crystal Palace cheerleaders were getting themselves ready for a TikTok dance video. As they started to record the video, after a few seconds, Vieira shows up in the doorway. At first, the Palace manager seems to go forward, but he turns back and enters the room where cheerleaders were recording the video.

As the cheerleaders notice Vieira standing in the doorway, they stop and start laughing. We can see the cheerleaders running away from the camera in embarrassment while bemusing Vieira still in the hallway.

Fans were quick to react as they posted the video on social media. Some fans asked why Vieira didn’t join them, while many others asked when the Premier League has cheerleaders. Fans were also curious to know what happened next.

Crystal Palace and Vieira will look to improve in the second half of the season

As we are nearing the return of club soccer, the clubs are gearing up for the games. Palace welcomes Fulham on boxing day at Selhurst Park. Both teams are on 19 points, although a better goal difference means Fulham is 9th and Palace is 11th in the table. Palace has a game in hand over Fulham.

Former Arsenal legend and New York City FC manager, Patrick Vieira, is in his second season at Crystal Palace. Vieira, regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of his generation, will look to finish in the top 10 this season with Palace. He boasts a win percentage of around 35% with Crystal Palace.

Palace is three points away from 6th placed Liverpool and will be determined to start on a winning note after the restart. The table looks congested in the middle, with many clubs in contention for the European places. However, there is still a long way to go for Palace, and only time will tell whether they can make it to the top 10 or European places.
