Their admirers also love to see their favorite athletes in a different style and try to copy that.

With a new season starting this September, one of Patrick Mahomes’s rival QB has gone for a new facial hair look! The Minnesota Vikings quarterback has given the vintage “handlebar” mustache look a go as the season unfurls. Teammates believe that it’s making him an altogether different person and the veteran is getting all the attention. Even the legendary QB Aaron Rodgers has gone with a unique beard style that makes the stalwart look younger!

Kirk Cousins goes with the Handblebar look

The Minnesota Vikings quarterback, Kirk Cousins, is creating a social media storm. This time his trendy facial hair has swept the fans and commentators alike. During the Viking’s loss against the visiting side- the Arizona Cardinals, the cameras captured the QB’s fresh look! The 4X Pro Bowl winner replaced his clean-shaven look and went for the Hulk Hogan mustache! NFL took to Twitter to reveal the new facial hair with a video “Who are you and what have you done with Kirk Cousins”. 

Over the years, Cousins has adopted various beard styles. The 2015 NFL completion percentage leader winner loves the beard game and had a full-grown one during one of the previous seasons. However, the handlebar mustache has grabbed eyeballs and invited heaps of positive comments. Fans were appreciative of the mustache- “Cousins rockin’ a new mustache? Vikings might be dangerous”.

Another fan commented, “God I hope he keeps this all season.” One fan went above and beyond writing “Kirk Cousins MVP season coming.” Cousins’ handlebar look comes days after NFL legend A-Rod brought about his facial hair makeover.

Aaron Rodgers sports a new mustache-style

Aaron Rodgers is amongst the current biggest stars of the NFL. The New York Jets QB who walked away from a record deal would play his first season with the side this year. It seems like, the SB champion is starting the fresh season with a new facial hair style. The earlier clean-shaven Rodgers is now supporting a solid mustache that just touches the end of his mouth. He’s still clean-shaven apart from the mustache and looks relatively young!

This new look gives the SB MVP “I mean business” vibes and left the fans stunned! Though fans spotted the facial hair in the team’s pre-season encounter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, the Jets’s Instagram post made the look more apparent. The post also shed light on A-Rod’s leg muscles, more so the calves in particular. Rodgers has reversed the clock and found the anti-aging formula, Kudos to his beard style and workouts.

With most of the pre-seasons already over. Fans are waiting with bated breaths to witness their favorite sides in action. With athletes bringing out new facial styles, the NFL should also host a competition for the best beard style of the season. What say fans?
