The two-week quarantine rule ahead of the Australian Open 2021 was tough on most players, but the likes of Rafael Nadal and Victoria Azarenka managed to stay in the headlines even during this dour spell.
The Spaniard, who is currently level with Roger Federer at 20 Grand Slam titles apiece, didn’t let up on his rigorous workouts and training during the quarantine period.

Nadal was filmed practicing his groundstrokes in the company of his coach Carlos Moya and the support staff. The Spaniard looked in fine fettle, nailing his trademark forehands and backhands during a high-intensity practice session.

Pablo Cuevas did shadow-practice under the shower
Veteran Uruguayan tennis star Pablo Cuevas found his own source of entertainment, sharing a video of himself shadow-practicing his shots under the shower.
He shared another footage of himself, perfecting his shots by bouncing the tennis ball off a mattress held up against the wall. The video got him appreciation from peers Riley Opelka and Vasek Pospisil.

She couldn’t have found a better way to not only keep herself active in the comforts of her hotel room during the quarantine period but also stay in high spirits.
Aryna Sabalenka put on her dancing shoes at practice
Her Belorussian peer Aryna Sabalenka took it a notch higher as she was seen in an impromptu dance-off with a member of her support staff.

Sabalenka, who is on a great run of form after winning three WTA tournaments on the bounce, took some time out of practice to show off her dancing skills.
Veteran French tennis star Edouard Roger-Vasselin shared a video of how he was counting down the quarantine days in his own unique way.
