There are several contenders for being the best Valorant pro in the world. However, TenZ from Cloud 9 is just a class apart with his skills. Some even call him the human aimbot, which is quite a compliment in the pro circuit. With all the experience from his Counter-Strike days, TenZ aims to be better than the best in Valorant.

There are very few in the gaming world who can be equally impeccable with a sniper. His skill with any weapon is beyond compare. The way he finds innovative plays to integrate abilities with old school sniping is just remarkable.

In a recent tutorial video, TenZ explained how to use the Operator properly.

“You can also wallbang, since it has high penetration.”

The Operator costs 4500 and has five bullets in a mag. Being a bolt action sniper allows the player to jiggle peek while scoping out. However, it is easier said than done. In a tight choke point, one may not pull this off.

When you are moving, it’s inaccurate.

Thus the jiggling movement has to be timed to perfection.

TenZ also said, “When you are using the Op, and you see the little red circle in the middle. You wanna make sure that the red circle is always showing when you take the shot.”

“Another thing you can do is jump peek with the OP.”

This technique is prevalent. Initially, people would shoot and jiggle on either side. This technique depends entirely on the landing after the jump. That fraction of a second when you land is the best time to shoot.

“One of the really important things with the Op is crosshair placement”

If you are a fan of the crazy no-scope snipe, this is an essential element. “I’d say it’s a good happy medium if you just put the Op where you know your reaction time.

This comes with a lot of practice, and it naturally gets in muscle memory. That little space is the buffer in case your opponent swings or jiggle peeks.

When you are Op-ing, it’s really good to be able to fall back.” This is the difference between an active angle and then switching to a passive angle after the first shot. Techniques like this allow players to select off-angles, and thus, it surprises the opponent.
