Valorant’s Patch 2.02 brings parity to movement shooting
Valorant finally answered the community’s prayers to nerf movement shooting by increasing the amount of errors in movement shooting. The error increase comes specifically in Rifles. This makes killing with movement much harder. The errors will be especially show it’s worth for longer distances, while close combat will still feel difficult for killing.
Errors for rifles during running have been bumped up from 3.75 to 5. They have also increased the error during walking from 0.8 to 1.1 while errors during crouch movement has rose from 0.3 to 0.8. This might effectively end the of run and gun and become more strategic than usual.

Match Making Rank receives a new update
Patch 2.02 notes also included the revelation of changes in the leaderboard system. The new system will allow players to reach their match making rank (MMR) faster. This is because of the increase in the convergence so that players can prove their rank quicker with fewer matches.
Players who play exceptionally better than their average in games will receive bonus points. This will be helpful to players who have a higher skill rating to climb their leaderboards quicker. The cap for 2 friends to queue up in the same game will reach to Diamond 3 from Radiant. Developers believe that this allows them to maintain the prestige of Immortal.
