Ninja to captain Valorant team
T1 on Twitter announced the news on Tuesday, June 23. Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins will take part in the T1 x NSG Valorant Showdown. The tournament will see Ninja leading his team as captain. Other team members include Greg “Grego” McAllen, Alex “LeX” Deily, Austin “Morgausse” Etue, and Michael “Sonii” Sherman.
Grego would be looking to kickstart his career in Valorant, whereas, Morgausse is fresh off from his Fortnite Summer Skirmish win. Certainly, LeX is a strong addition to the team as well. The veteran CS: GO and Call of Duty player has played a handful of tournaments and looks all set to conquer Valorant along with his new teammates. Team Ninja previously did play some matches together and looks like they’re in sync.

Ninja is well established in Fortnite and now he looks to make a mark in the new Valorant. The tournament is part of the Ignition Series that was recently announced for major regions. A major win would be a huge boost to the streamer.
Where will Ninja settle?
Mixer closed down operations after a 3-year journey. The streaming platform was initially launched to take on the likes of Twitch but was unable to keep up with its rivals. Most importantly, they signed Ninja from Twitch for a record-breaking sum. Microsoft will now partner up with Facebook for its brand new ‘Facebook Gaming.’
Mixer Partners, streamers, and community – today, we've got some very big news for you.
While we’ve decided to close the operations side of Mixer, we're officially partnering with @FacebookGaming and we're cordially inviting all of you to join.
