Act 2 of Valorant has been nothing short of a banger as of now. As the current act is nearing its end, devs at Riot Games had published a blog post yesterday giving players a heads up about the upcoming act. Act 3 will be introducing a new map, a new agent, changes in the competitive gameplay, and much more. Like always, data miners had uncovered a lot of information regarding the upcoming agent and its abilities.
Today, Riot Games has finally dropped the trailer for the upcoming new agent, Skye. In the blog post announcing what is new in Act 3, devs said that they had originally thought of adding the new agent along with the new map when Act 3 kicks off.
The upcoming act will be introducing a lot of new content to the game. In fact, the sheer amount of content included in the first Act 3 update patch is why they had to delay the release of this new agent.

There is always a story that explains how the agents got in the game. From the trailer, it looks like this new agent, Skye, is someone who is a Valorant version of, say, Tarzan. She can summon animals who aid her in fights. In the trailer, we can hear Sage asking for her help in other fights across the world.

Thanks to data miners, we already know her abilities, and now they all fall into place. It looks like Skye has the power of the forest aiding her, hence the animal trinkets. Her recon/explosive ability uses the Tasmanian Tiger trinket and her blinding or flashbang ability uses an eagle trinket.
The trailer has confirmed the abilities that we know of until now, and it seems this agent could well be the next meta. Overall, Skye is an enhanced supporting agent who can make or break a game.
