He is not the first player to have made the move to Valorant. Valorant has been very successful. There are also rumors around the former IGL of Team Liquid to make a shift to Valorant. However, that is very uncertain right now and doesn’t have any concrete base. G2 signed Mixwell and announced their arrival into Valorant. He was announced as the captain of the roster. G2 has been responsible for bringing one of the finest competitive players into the fold.
“The goal is to be the best Valorant team in the world and I want to be the best player in the game, have fun representing the fans around the world, and I am sure we can do it together,” said Mixwell.

Ignition Series x Mandatory. GG Cup
The tournament was restricted to European teams. It took place from 31st July-2nd August. There were 32 teams and the process of moving on to the next round was based on single elimination. So, the players had to play every game as it was their last because it could’ve been. Mixwell took to Twitter to share the developments of the series. Winning the Mandatory.gg Cup was their consecutive Ignition Series win, adding to an enthralling number of 4 series wins. They beat Bonk, a Swedish team in the final. The tournament was based on a single bracket of elimination. Every match had a lot at stake. With a brilliant overall performance, G2 never looked in any kind of danger. They also finished first in the WePlay! Invitational and Vitality European Open both of which were held on an online platform.
