The Valero Texas Open has been garnering all the attention ever since Thursday. Well, the tournament is hosting its 99th edition, and every player is keen on clinching the trophy this year. A lot of golfers have already faced the cut after 36-holes, so let’s take a look at what’s on the schedule for Round 3.
Round 3 on Saturday is when all the players would attempt to make a surge to compensate for any late mishaps that might occur in the final round.
Cameron Tringale leads all players after 36-holes at TPC San Antonio, Oaks course. The veteran golfer is eying for his first PGA Tour win and has established himself as a favorite at Valero Texas Open by carding 9-under in his first two rounds.

However, Tringale is closely followed by Matt Wallace and Jordan Spieth who are both two strokes behind the leader. The final two rounds will prove to be an exciting finish to a celebrated tournament!

Saturday’s run of events at the Valero Texas Open will be interesting. Cameron Tringale certainly isn’t running away with the trophy as there are six golfers who are closely trailing him within four strokes.
The first group comprising Charl Schwartzel, Rickie Fowler, and Keegan Bradley will tee-off at 10:43 AM ET from the first tee, while Jimmy Walker, Tyler Duncan, and Chris Kirk will begin their rounds at the same time from the 10th tee.
