Megan Rapinoe reveals the inspiration behind starting a unisex clothing company
During an interview with Forbes Women, Rapinoe spoke about her new business venture. While mentioning the shared vision among the quartet, she revealed their aim is to redefine what unisex clothing means.
She said, “There’s four of us: Meghan Klingenberg, Chris Press and Tobin Heath. And really just feeling a void, I think in the market of not just, you know sort of genderless clothes. But oftentimes that just means like they say its unisex.
“But they just slap male sizing on it and hopefully you fit into the male sizing scheme, which basically no women really fit into that and the sizes aren’t really right.
“So, we wanted to curate something and design something truly that could go both ways, and look good on men and look good on women worn a number of different ways. And I think beyond that, it’s about creating a community of people who really do want to challenge the status quo, and who maybe don’t know how or they don’t have that community.”

We feel like there’s a lot more people that feel like that as well. So, just trying to create that space for people through progress and through art, through that creativity to challenge the status quo.”
