Former President Donald Trump’s One Move Led Megan Rapinoe to a Strange Realization on His Behaviour Once: “He Knew He Couldn’t So…”

Megan is a World Cup winner, along with an Olympic champion. Besides that, the star soccer player is an activist, who never backed off from fighting against the wrong.

Donald Trump was the 45th President of the United States and served the nation for four years. During this period, he had numerous disputes with several people. Nevertheless, his disagreements with USWNT icon, Megan Rapinoe, are still making headlines. Their thoughts and opinions have hardly coincided with one another till today.

Even before winning the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Megan had made it clear that she won’t be visiting the White House. That can be linked back to the comments made by Trump regarding the athlete. Furthermore, when the team brought back bronze in the Tokyo Olympics, after losing to Sweden, 3-0, the president had called their captain, “leftist” and “woke.”

However, Megan didn’t take it as a criticism. Instead, she thought that Trump liked the way they were. Even though they are like the opposite sides of a coin, the athlete believes that’s not the case. 

“I feel like he was actually like, you know, trying to be a fan,” said the soccer legend. “But then he knew that he couldn’t, so then he had this like, you know, tantrum mantrum on Twitter.”

Starting from the beginning till the very end, Donald Trump never left a single chance to criticize the Olympian. Back in 2021, when the team didn’t win gold in the Olympics, the President couldn’t stop himself from denouncing USWNT’s leading player, Megan Rapinoe. 

“Wokeism makes you lose, ruins your mind, and ruins you as a person,” stated then-president, Donald Trump. “You become warped. You become demented. The US Women’s Soccer team is a good example of what’s going on.”
