The Jamaican athlete has time and again proved that he is the king when it comes to track and field. Bolt made the World Record during 2009 World Athletics. To date, that record is standing rock solid. Perhaps only Bolt himself is capable of breaking the record he set.

In his career, Usain Bolt is the owner of 8 Olympic medals. Moreover, he is the only sprinter to win the 100 m and the 20m in 3 back-to-back Olympics. Nicknamed the “Lightning Bolt”, he is the greatest sprinter of all time.

It was in 2017 that Usain Bolt retired after a hamstring injury. Since then, the athlete has been thinking about making a comeback many a time. He has talked about it publicly as well. Just recently, Bolt made a powerful statement which has left everyone asking only one question: Is Usain Bolt coming back?

“Lightning Bolt” to make a comeback?

The Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics were held in the month of August 2021. During this time, Usain Bolt made multiple statements regarding his comeback. He revealed that he wouldn’t mind making a comeback at all. However, it is his coach who doesn’t quite agree with him.

On Tuesday, the sprinting legend took to Twitter to make another big statement. He shared an iconic video of him sprinting. However, it was the caption that caught everyone’s attention.

“Might need to unretire myself or is it to late for me?” These very words caught the attention of fans worldwide.

Bolt is actually very interested in making a comeback. Notably, NFL legend, Tom Brady also came out of retirement just mere weeks after he announced his retirement. Looks like this has got Usain Bolt re-thinking about his retirement plans.

Is Usain Bolt planning something big?

Usain Bolt shared a video of him practicing some hardcore boxing over Twitter. Here he used the lyrics of his song Motivated.

“Taking it to New Heights, Hard work put in with Sleepless Nights,” was part of the lyrics he posted. Bolt has repeatedly revealed that he still has that “itch” to compete. At the same time, if he wanted to make a comeback, it would have been for the 2020 Olympics.

Whether to not Bolt makes a comeback is unsure, but at the same time, the athlete is planning something big which we can’t wait to discover!
