As the US celebrated National Chocolate Milk day on the 27th of September, a newly emerged video has fans drooling. Paying a fitting tribute to the occasion, fans witnessed Katie’s surreal moves once again. Notably, they had to settle for a throwback video, since Ledecky is currently on a sabbatical, enjoying her success from Tokyo.

Katie Ledecky loves chocolate milk

In a tweet released by ‘GonnaNeedMilk’, fans saw Ledecky dive into the pool while savoring on chocolate milk, after. As everyone on social media joined in on the celebrations, undoubtedly, Katie is the greatest ambassador the company could have.

Although she has strict diet constraints, her love for the beverage is non-negotiable. In fact, she even opened up on her profound love for chocolate milk.

“I’ve been drinking chocolate milk since I was about 13 as my recovery drink after practice, after meets. It has proteins, carbs, and electrolytes—and I just love the taste. So yeah, I didn’t want to ruin it. With my swim, I really had to earn that chocolate milk!,” said Ledecky.

However, this is not the first time a video like this has come up.

The famous swimming video

During her training routines for Tokyo Olympics, the swimmer placed a glass of milk on top of her head and swam in the pool. Her ability to maintain balance and swim without spilling the milk wowed fans on the internet.

The Got Milk team wanted Katie to promote their calcium-rich drink. Hence, Ledecky showcased her talents by posting the video. It explains her love for the drink as she uses it to recover from strenuous workout schedules.

Katie Ledecky is a legend. She has become one of the greatest swimmers in the sport’s history. After commendable success at the Tokyo Olympics, the next stop is Paris 2024. Once again, Ledecky will be the favorite to win the competitions, undoubtedly.
