The PBR Team Series 2023 is almost here. The second installment of the wildly successful rodeo series would include an international cast of cowboys, both well-known and somewhat unknown. Despite the upcoming arena action, however, the spectators’ expectations of the world champion bull riders have not changed. It takes a lot of courage to ride a lot of 90-point rides, and these world champions have a hang of it since there is no space for errors in the Team Series event, which is why they won the PBR world championship.

Some rodeo videos published on the official PBR account have gone viral in advance of the Team Series. The video’s viral success may be attributed to the simple fact that it features incredible ride montages from world champion bull riders, demonstrating how prepared these cowboys are for the year’s most important bull riding competition.

In the Instagram video, from left to right, we have world champion bull riders Cooper Davis (PBR, 2016), Sage Kimzey (PRCA, 7x), and Daylon Swearingen (PBR, 2022). The video’s sudden popularity—around 10,000 likes in a matter of days—was entirely attributable to this. The 2016 PBR world champion is shown in the first scene of the viral video sitting on a bull inside the metal chute. The bull, however, went crazy and began bucking as soon as it opened. Cooper Davis had the animal under complete control the whole time it was bucking. The American cowboy wonderfully controlled the thousand-pound monster, and despite the beast’s best efforts, Davis emerged victorious.

The second video in the Instagram post features Sage Kimzey, a seven-time PRCA World Champion. Kimzey is beginning his PBR career again with the Carolina Cowboys in the hopes of winning the Team Series. His talents were on display during the 2023 Calgary Stampede, as shown in the video. The American cowboy was on the bucking bull, and the metal chutes had been removed. The bull tried its hardest, but it was up against a seven-time world champion, and the champion was bound to win.

Daylon Swearingen, the 2022 PBR World Champion, made an appearance in the video as well. Swearingen is known for ending the two-year reign of Brazilian cowboy Jose Vitor Leme as PBR world champion and returning the championship back to the United States. As soon as the metal chutes began to open, the bull seized the cowboy by storm and began bucking him. Swearingen, however, put up little resistance and ultimately won the battle against the bucking bull.

The 2023 Calgary Stampede performances were only rehearsals for the world champions. The Cowboys are unstoppable, and rodeo fans can’t wait to see more of their talents on display during the Team Series itself.
