Both cowboys and bulls are considered athletes in the sport of bull riding. Former PBR bucking bull Bushwacker was born in the United States on June 1, 2006. He was a three-time PBR World Champion Bull, having previously won titles in 2011, 2013, and 2014. The bull was such a force in the rodeo arena that, in 2016, it was given the PBR Brand of Honor for its outstanding performance. Years have passed, but the PBR arena still remembers Bushwacker as the world champion bull in a recent social media message.

The PBR’s social media account shared a video of the world champion bull. The video went viral almost immediately after its release, demonstrating Bushwacker’s supremacy even while the animal was confined away from its legions of devoted admirers.

During a PBR record string of 42 buck-offs, Bushwacker became a household name. There were a total of 56 buck-offs throughout all divisions of the supposedly elite league. Thiago Paguioto, a Brazilian cowboy, was the one who began the bull’s winning run. But until August 2013, there was no cowboy who would let the bull ride him for 8 seconds. However, after nine failed attempts, American cowboy and two-time world champion J.B. Mauney ultimately rode Bushwacker to victory. These are the legendary feats of the world champion bull that continue to impress rodeo enthusiasts, proving that the buzz around the tribute video on Instagram was well-deserved.

In the opening seconds of the Instagram video, the world champion bull can be seen performing bull things, like using his horns to hurl dirt. The clip then opens with an unnamed rider being smacked off the bull’s back. After the metal chutes were removed, the bull immediately began bucking, and the cowboy was flung off and smacked by the bull’s horn as he fell to the ground before the 8-second buzzer rang. In addition to showcasing the bull’s strength in its prime, the video also included a series of immediate buck-offs.

This bull previously dominated the rodeo arena, bucking off everyone from novices to world champions and winning a world championship for itself. Seeing the video brought back fond memories for many rodeo enthusiasts, and it quickly went viral.

Retired but never far away from the rodeo fans’ hearts
