The PBR Team Series is going off smoothly in Anaheim, California, and the rodeo community is having a great time watching the action. X-rays show that seven-time PRCA bull riding world champion Sage Kimzey broke his collarbone a few days ago, when the whole globe witnessed the intense action. Even though the world champion cowboy’s midseason has come to a halt, he wasted little time responding to the news on social media.
Sage Kimzey has kept his devoted following abreast of his injury status. His latest social media post, in which he was shown among other cowboys, however, seemed to hint towards his return to the PBR rodeo grounds and maybe the PRCA in the future.

Not only has Sage Kimzey won seven world championships, but injuries have played a significant role in his successful career. The American cowboy was hurt on July 28, 2023, while riding Dakota Rodeo’s Devil’s Revenge in the semi-finals of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. At the 8-second mark, he was flung from the bull and landed hard on his left shoulder, breaking his collarbone. The cowboy was eventually brought to the hospital for surgery. Kimzey announced his operation on Instagram, and his brief message to his followers hinted at a season hiatus and a little chance of a comeback.
The cowboy’s latest Instagram post, though, has increased the slight likelihood of a return. Three prominent members of the Carolina Cowboys squad from the PBR squad Series collaborated on the post. American cowboy Josh Frost, 28, posted on Instagram, “The boys and I here in Anaheim, California doing what we love with the @carolinacowboyspbr!” The Kimzey brothers, Sage and Trey, were in the photo with Frost. “We’ll be bucking bulls next weekend in Nashville @nashvillestampede on August 18-20. See y’all there!” the cowboy wrote in the Instagram post, revealing some more interesting details.

Fans of the seven-time world champion may rest assured that he will be making a speedy recovery from his injury and returning to action.
How are the Carolina Cowboys doing?
In the PBR Team Series, the Carolina Cowboys have had a mixed record. At the first game of the Team Series in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the PBR Team gave it their all but wasn’t enough to beat their opponent. Ultimately, both teams finished the series with a 2-0-0 record, but the Austin Gamblers were able to use it to their advantage and claim the top slot.
