One example is car surfing, in which a person rides on the exterior of a moving automobile and tries to stay balanced while the car is being driven by someone else. Yet, a video of someone attempting to vehicle surf in Fairfield, Sydney, has lately gone viral on the internet.

The 9 News Facebook page shared a video of a guy car surfing. Several people found the surfer’s antics to be humorous, and the post quickly went viral as a result.

So what’s exactly going on in here?

Someone in the truck behind the surfer’s vehicle, which was in the right lane of the roadway, caught the moment the surfer performed the unusual act of car surfing in the middle of traffic. The video was taken on Monday in Fairfield, Sydney, according to a post by Nine News on Facebook. In this 35-second film, a guy can be seen attempting to squat over a white Honda CR-V vehicle and then rising to his feet. He is seen wearing trousers, a vest over a T-shirt, and a yellow cap. In addition to making a show of waving at approaching vehicles, the guy crouches to recover his footing. While no one was hurt, the authorities had strong words for those responsible.

In the Facebook post, 9 News wrote about the incident, saying, “A man was spotted car-surfing in Sydney’s west yesterday, performing the dangerous stunt on a busy road. Fortunately, no one was reported injured in the incident.” It is against the law in Australia to surf on moving vehicles, thus the relevant authorities are investigating this video.

The authorities are understandably upset, but the Facebook users who have seen the video are making amusing remarks. Here are some comments to prove it. It looks like this user is worried about the vehicle that is behind the car surfer, saying, “The poor truck behind him .. can u imagine the outcome if he fell.” Another user went on a nostalgic trip after looking at this video, as they say, “Lol if that’s the latest tiktok trendXD I remember train surfing/tram surfing back in the old days.”
