Alamayah, Sumba, Indonesia, was where the big wave surfer resided. In the clip, he and his crew board a boat and go out to the break, where he can be seen prepping his surfboard and applying sunscreen. Lenny then takes to the waves of Indonesia headfirst. In the video’s first scene, the surfer tackles a wave with a beautiful cutback close to the camera. In the next scene, Lenny goes for a barrel. The surfer’s barrel didn’t go as planned, but he didn’t waste the wave by pausing; instead, he finished it with a spectacular cutback.

Kai Lenny keeps going after a few unsuccessful attempts at a barrel. When the challenging Indonesian waves prevent the surfer from completing a good barrel, he instead launches himself into a big aerial. However, Lenny couldn’t stop at just one aerial, so he flipped his surfboard over again on the same wave. The eight-time world champion just needs a few aerial moves to do a full 360-degree spin that is sure to leave his audience in awe. He has never failed to share a surfing session with his global fan base, and this video is no exception.
