The video, that went viral a while back, made Calihan a matter of heated debate among surfers. While Garrett and Calihan were out surfing, a wave swept the boy away from his father and brought him dangerously close to a shark. When Garrett came to him with questions about the shark, the 5-year-old attempted to defuse the situation by pretending it was a turtle. The child, however, was fully aware that the predator was a shark the whole time. While the most recent video didn’t include any sharks, it still managed to go viral thanks to the 5-year-old’s other antics.
