For AAA games, such as GTA, physics are crucial. Players trust that the developer or publisher will include realistic physics in open-world games. While fans have long disputed and continue to debate Grand Theft Auto 5’s physics, GTA 4’s mechanics were exceptional. Since it has been so long since the last installment of the popular series, the publisher is going all out for GTA 6, which is based in the city of Miami. And what’s a local favorite in the city? Surfing.
Due to its enormous budget of $2,000,000,000, Rockstar is upgrading its RAGE game engine significantly. According to the most recent online reports, the developers have recruited a team of 20 engineers to implement realistic wave dynamics in GTA 6’s oceans. As the waterways of GTA 5, where we may enjoy jetskis and a variety of boats, lack a specific wave physics system, the publisher’s decision to include it in the new installment, is extremely novel. This will be a game-changer for surfers everywhere, allowing them to indulge their passion from the comfort of their own homes via the revolutionary medium of virtual surfing.
