After Jonathan Quick’s debut with the Vegas Golden Knights against the Montreal Canadiens on October 4, the league’s official Facebook page included a message praising the goalkeeper. The NHL congratulated Quick after the Knights’ opening night victory against the Montreal Canadiens. The Los Angeles Kings had been his club since the 2007-2008 NHL season; therefore, this was the first time he had ever played for another team.
