Fans of the Detroit Red Wings are losing it after their favorite player was moved to the NHL‘s best club, the Boston Bruins. Despite enjoying a great season so far, the Bruins traded for left winger Tyler Bertuzzi from the Red Wings on Thursday, shattering the aspirations of Red Wings supporters who had hoped he would remain with the team until the conclusion of his NHL career. On the other hand,one part of the fanbase has not shown any animosity since they’re thrilled that their team’s NHL superstar was signed by the league’s finest club.

The Boston Bruins’ official Twitter account just posted a video in which Tyler Bertuzzi is shown. He’s been training in his Bruins gear, so he must be adjusting to life in the NHL.

Detroit Red Wings fans loved Tyler Bertuzzi, who played an important role on the team. The Red Wings snagged the NHL superstar in the first round of the 2013 draft. Bertuzzi made his NHL debut during the 2016–17 season. The outstanding left winger has since appeared in 305 games, contributing to 88 goals and 114 assists. He left the Red Wings as a young, promising player, and he is now eager to win the Stanley Cup for the first time for his new team.

None of the fans for either the Red Wings or the Bruins were anticipating this transaction; therefore, it came as a complete surprise. It looks like this Red Wings fan doesn’t like the trade, but still wishes good luck to the left winger, saying, “Thanks, we all hate it. Go get your cup Bert.” A similar comment also adds, “This looks so odd, but I absolutely hope Bert lights it up for you guys on this cup run!”. Among all his former team fans, another similar cheeky comment reads, “I’m gonna guess he’ll be spray painting his gloves black for next game.”

A lot of fans are demanding the club keep the former Red Wings player in good condition; one comment reads, “Take care of our boy.” The way the Bruins are showcasing their strength this season, this fan leaves a comment for the NHL star, saying, “You’re on a wagon ride, sir … on the road to the Cup Final.”
