“Inclusive growth” is a term used in economics to describe development that encompasses all levels of society, ensuring that no one is left behind. Many athletes have embraced this concept by actively giving back to their communities, creating opportunities for others to thrive and succeed. Now, it appears that football safety and gymnastics legend Simone Biles’ husband, Jonathan Owens, is once again leveraging his resources to foster a passion for football among young minds.

The Jonathan Owens Foundation aims to cultivate resilience in young individuals, empowering them to achieve their fullest potential. Recently, Owens, alongside his organization, has stepped up once again to impart his wisdom to aspiring footballers of tomorrow, much to the delight of his wife.

In the comment section of Owens’ post, the Olympic gold medalist’s emotions were put forth as Simone wrote, “so proud of you baby, keep inspiring the youth“. While the series of images from St. Louis showed Jonathan’s dedication to helping the youth find their calling, another one of his posts documented what the Chicago Bears had to say to the kids.

Another year, another successful football camp!! 🙏🏽 Thank you to all the volunteers and @bamfam501c3 for helping to bring the vision to light!” reads the caption in the other post made by Jonathan. “Come out and show everyone what you’re made of,” Owens says to the children and they don’t let the opportunity slide. While Simone’s support of Jonathan’s endeavor is making their fans gush, it would be worth noting that they always find every way to lend their shoulder to the other.

Jonathan and Simone got married last year. Since then, and even before that, the couple always made sure to let the other know they had each other’s back no matter what. From showing up at Jonathan’s games, even when he played for the Green Bay Packers, and they were hundreds of miles away from each other, to Jonathan catching a last-minute flight to Texas despite adverse weather, their love story continues to give couple goals to the fans. Even at the Xfinity US Championships, Jonathan was spotted in the stands and taking notes of his wife’s and her colleagues’ performances, leading many to speculate if he was eyeing a career in gymnastics.

The duo also regularly makes time to have dinners together, where Jonathan helps Simone find her calm before important tournaments. As Simone prepares for the upcoming US Team Trials, it remains to be seen how Jonathan will continue to support his wife in securing her ticket to Paris.
