Ryan Williams, an Australian freestyle scooter and BMX rider, is no rookie to the athletic scene. The 28-year-old Olympian, who goes by the nickname ‘R-Willy’, is quite popular on sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Williams likes to undertake difficult feats on camera, so he posts footage of them often on his social media accounts, where he has a loyal following. It’s not simple for R-Willy to pull off such maneuvers since they might have disastrous consequences.
A video of Ryan Williams doing a stunt was recently uploaded to his official Facebook page. R-Willy was doing tricks on his BMX at the skatepark owned by Olympic BMX rider Dennis Enarson. It took him several attempts before he was satisfied with the spectacle he put on.

Skateboard purists would frown on someone riding a bike at the skatepark, but bikes are rather frequent. One of the most common tricks performed by skateboarders is called a ‘flair’, and it consists of a backflip followed by a 180-degree spin so that the rider lands looking back down the ramp. Ryan Williams was trying a flair on the skatepark owned by famous BMX rider Dennis Enarson. The internet superstar wanted to attempt the stunt alone since he claims to have never done it before while on a bike.
R-Willy, a seasoned veteran at these kinds of tricks, flubed his first attempt at the prompt. Since he wasn’t wearing gloves, he also got a splinter in his right palm. But Williams quickly dug out the splinter and tried the technique again, this time using gloves to protect his hands. After a few attempts, R-Willy finally pulled out a beautiful flair, and his crewmates surrounding him went absolutely insane.
His fans went insane the moment they saw the BMX trick
As soon as Ryan Williams’ Facebook post went live, his army of fans descended upon the comments section. R-Willy’s supporters were suitably thrilled by his skatepark stunt.
As the flair isn’t an easy trick and R-Willy was able to successfully do it, one comment read how this fan takes pride in doing a small trick, “Meanwhile I feel like a god if I hold a wheelie for 4 seconds.” It looks like one of his fans has been waiting for him to do this trick for years, as one comment read, “Awesome, I’ve been waiting for the pocket flair for years.”
