It was quite the unexpected moment when a 20-year-long feud finally saw an end. Two of the leading legends of the wrestling industry have now come to terms with each other. Leaving the ring behind a long time ago, both the former rivals are yet again brought into discussion relating to one of the disturbing events of their careers. But who are these legends in question?

They are none other than WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner and WWE superstar Triple H. The two have come to negotiable terms after finally burying the hatchet since their 2002 arm wrestling match. The new year is starting off with such a new change in the wrestling industry that none could have even thought of, and surprise, surprise! It was an NIL deal that took away the negativity.

To be more precise, it was an NIL deal with his son that led WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner to put a stop to his 20-year-old rivalry against Triple H. Stating the reality, Scott himself went publicly to end the feud. Making his appearance on the Busted Open Podcast this week, he said, Hunter called the other day, maybe like, probably 3 weeks ago, and offered my boy—my boy, an NIL deal… he’s got one more year left in college.”

It was Triple H that offered the first hand in resolving the issue, and in doing so, Scott accepted the truce on considering his son Brock Rechsteiner’s NIL deal with WWE. For him, the grudge held between the two would have seen an end, and it was this time that the issue went back to normal with no harm coming over his nephew Bronn Breaker’s active membership in WWE.

“I left with a lot of hard feelings, but, at some point, you gotta let it be. You can’t be angry the whole time. You can’t hold a grudge. Plus, the fact that some people that you have a grudge against probably don’t even know anyway, and I didn’t want to screw up anything for him (Bronn), so I just buried the hatchet.

Did Scott Steiner make the right call ending the feud for his son's future in WWE?

Have an interesting take?

Bronn, who made his way to the WWE last year in October, comes from a strong family background famous in professional wrestling. He is carrying forward the legacy of his father, Rick, and Uncle Scott Steiner, the famous Steiner Brothers, donning individual, skilled, and impressive feats in the history of wrestling.

Brock, who is in his final year at Jacksonville State University and is yet to turn pro in wrestling, receives such an offer from none other than The Game himself. His football skills and his standout 85-yard touchdown came off quite clean to get noticed and draw WWE attention. While Scott resolves the feud for his son’s probable future in wrestling, wrestling fans are left grappling with what the NIL deal is.

Wrestling aficionados are quite confused by Triple H’s deal

It is quite the newsworthy event, with things going back to normal between Scott Steiner and Triple H. With no doubts left over the normalcy shown from both sides, a sense of confusion has risen out, with fans having doubts over what the NIL deal is, while some showed their support for Scott’s decision.

For many, the NIL deal concept remains unknown. Stating out his concern, a fan comes out with questions over the NIL deal offered by a big personality like Triple H: “What’s that mean? An NIL deal.” Although a clear picture of the 20-year-long rivalry can be seen now, doubts over the NIL deal are arising.

Not just for him, but for many, the NIL deal comes as a bit unknown. The comment made by a fan, “NIL stands for Next In Line for those asking,” states the unknown of the basics—and maybe, just maybe, a tinge of satire hinting at the legacy of the Steiner family. The real definition, however, stands for name, image, and likeness. The NIL gives the right to every college athlete to have control over the commercial usage of their image and gain financial support by becoming paid endorsers and signing deals with the college teams from where they think they can get their profit.

Apart from the confusion created among fans, some of them showed their support on the matter. A fan came out saying, “Good for Scott for letting go. Even if it’s for benefiting his nephew and son.” Letting go of a 20-year feud was indeed commendable, highlighting moments seen on social media.
