USA?s Olympic Wrestling Champion David Taylor Hilariously Bestows ?Goat? Status to His NLWC Coaches

David Taylor is the superstar of wrestling. He has won it all. The American freestyle and the Folkstyle wrestler have dominated the 86kg division. The reigning Olympic and world champion will be setting on to claim the top spot at the podium in the Paris Olympics 2024. Known as ?Magicman?, Taylor has held his championship title since 2022, after taking it back from Hassan Yazdani.

With the Olympics just around the corner, David is taking it easy without rushing into things. His podcast is one project that he is involved in. Apart from that, he also invests a lot of time for his family on the ranch. Before coming back to the mats for his Olympic training a few days back, David had uploaded an adorable video of a holiday with his family. Recently, he posted one video from his ranch that is sure to create a burst of laughter for the viewers.

Taylor ‘goats’ his wrestling coaches

YouTube is the new project that the Olympic wrestler seems to be putting his footprint upon. He is regularly uploading the podcast videos and the videos from his ranch. Recently, he shared a happy moment directly from his ranch. Two new baby goats took birth on his ranch, adding new members to his family. In a post on his X account, he shared the link to the video from the ranch and wrote, ?Added two new members to the Taylor family, Cael and Cody the GOATS?. But the catch is somewhere else!

Taylor named the two goats Cael and Cody. These are actually the names of the two coaches in the Nittany Lions Training Center (NLWC)! They are Cael and Cody Sanderson. Is David trying to convey a message about his coaches? Well, we are not sure about that. But the way he ?goated? his coaches was a moment of pure joy.

In the video, the two adorable goatlings were seen playing with Taylor?s daughters. Backing his choice of names, Taylor said in the video, ?it is pretty good name for them. They are pretty good. Girls love them and it has been a good addition to the family.? These lighter moments that Taylor often shares these days seem to be showing his immense confidence and calmness as he heads into the Olympics.

Heading into the Olympics with good headspace

The Magicman has a lot going for him. From defending his title at the World Title Championship to coming back to a growing family, Taylor is in a good place. With baby number three on the way, Taylor has so much to look forward to heading into the Olympic month next year. Adopting a different approach from the Tokyo Olympics, this time Taylor has decided to train and have fun.
